The Ulu is a traditional skinning knife with a crescent-shaped blade developed by Indigenous Arctic cultures—including the Inuit, Yupik, and Aleut peoples. Dating back to as early as 2500 BCE.

Our Qalupalik Ulu is an EDC sized Ulu for pocket or belt line carry. The TPU sheath comes equipped with two IWB loops to securely mount the knife to your belt or molle webbing. Taking the loops off allows for easy and discreet pocket carry.

The handles are ABS plastic mounted with our TCNC Micro Hardware, and feature an internal storage space for cordage or fire starting materials.

Qalupalik - Cryptid from Inuit mythology that lives in arctic waters and will steal children and put them in her amautik (a large pouch she wears on her back)
