La Bruja is a collaboration between TCNC and Ed Calderon/Sneakreaper Industries. La Bruja is Ed's utility - butchering design. The handle scales are CNC textured and feature a hidden internal smugglers pocket. They are affixed to the blade with our custom made 17-4 stainless hardware that is removable with a penny for field maintenance and storage of small items.
La Bruja features a 3D machined CPM 3V blade. CPM 3V is a Crucible powdered metal steel that has high toughness while still having good edge retention. Our blades are all professionally vacuum heat treated and then liquid nitrogen treated for maximum toughness.
The handle scales are CNC textured G10 or Ultem and are affixed to the skeletonized full tang with our custom 17-4 stainless hardened hardware. Our in-house made hardware is removable using a penny allowing for storage under the scales and field maintenance without special tools.
The handle scales have a recess in the back to allow for a small cord to go through the blade to act as a lanyard.
The included sheath comes with a Tracker Dan Gen 2 clip, and the clip is removable for different clips or carry methods.
Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) finish on the blades is a class of amorphous carbon material that displays some of the typical properties of diamond. The high surface hardness (HRC 72) provides excellent scratch resistance and is highly stain and rust resistant. It is matte black in appearance and holds up well to hard use.
Heat Treat Oxide: This is the raw finish that develops on the blades during the vacuum heat treat and cryogenic process. It is more susceptible to scratches and wear over time.

Wrapped Handles The handles are hand wrapped with hemp under wraps and a Japanese style wrap for a secure grip. These blades have custom kydex sheaths and will not work with the inline clip sheath the regular Bruja uses.
Squared Spines The spines have been sharpened at a 90 degree angle for scraping.
